Abstract Submission - Until April, 8th

• Please submit your abstract with a minimal amount of formatting, i.e. no caps, bold or italics.
• Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and should not contain equations.
• The file should contain the following information: Title of the paper, authors, affiliations, e-mail addresses of the authors, keywords and JEL Codes.
• A limited number of papers will be accepted.

Full paper submission - Until June, 24th

Please submit the full text of your accepted paper in PDF format by June, 24th to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . A special issue of Empirical Economics will be published with papers presented at the conference. The usual blind review procedure adopted by the journal will apply.

Graduate student paper competition

The Spatial Econometrics Association sponsors a graduate student paper competition. A paper can be submitted for the competition if the author is currently a graduate student or his/her graduation date was after January 1, 2011. In the case of a co-authored paper the eligibility criterion pertains to all authors.

The jury for the prize consists of the members of the SEA Board of Directors who are present at the conference. Giuseppe Arbia chairs the jury, and he will announce the prize winners and present the awards during the official conference dinner.
